I need to replace my old hotchppotch of monitors and laptops
I'm thinking of two 34 inch widescreens, in an over-under arrangment. (Like "Humbled Trader"'s, but hers are bigger and posh)
Up one from "full hd" but not 4K. ("4k" would actually be more than 4k because they'd be 21: 9 not 16:9)
Would 4K be crisper? I wouldn't be able to read the finest text it could show because of its size so wouldn't need the pixels.
VA used to have darker blacks than IPS. Is that still true? They're a little cheaper.
I might add a portrait display or two - that would have to be IPS I believe because you don't rotate VA.

which says to use vanilla 24" full HD displays. They're only about £80 now, so definitely good value. 27" are little more for the cheapies.
