Hello guys, I am new member to this forum. Hope you are all doing great.

I am an undergraduate in my final year, on a finance degree, and I see that the job market is very bad for trader wannabes. I have the passion and believe I have the intellectual capability to prepare myself as best as possible, for an independent move in trading. If not with actual money, with simulation, so I can create a log of returns and so on.

I would really appreciate your advice on a textbook to get started and any additional piece of advice on how to equipe myself for a possible trading career on my own.

Thanks. (y)

Have you traded before? If not, are you looking to start trading simply because the job market is soft?

Try reading "Come into my Trading Room" by Elder, it's a good starter.

Get an internship, read the books, read the ft, follow the market and dont read forums.
