How to draw short trendlines on MT4?

as above,
I know how to draw long horizontal lines. I would like to know how to draw the short ones.

when you draw the trendline double click on it and look at the trendline properties .. under the parameters tab there is a box called Ray. If you select it then the trendline extends forever, if you deselect it then you choose the length of the trendline.

tx... the only option I have under parameters of horizontal line is Value , nothing about Ray

It really is simple
Draw a trendline, double click on it to edit it, right click it to bring up properties box which looks like pic below. If the box next to "Ray" is checked the trendline extends to infinity. If it is not checked you can make the trendlines the length you want.
