I want to plot MA's and other indicators in their own subplot, ie down the bottom not overlayed on the actual bars.

How do I do this?

Format/Analysis Techniques. Click on the indicator, then format/properties and select which subgraph you want.

Thanks for that but it has not helped me in the exact way I am after

I have an interesting system for trading the indices. In it the author plots a Linear Regression line and then drags the line up onto the chart.

When you do this the scaling is not correct and the swings in the LR line are huge. This is done intentionally in order to keep the line away from the bars and exaggerate the swings.

But my problem is when I plot a Linear Regression line it just plots like a moving average following the bars.

And when I do move it to its own subplot, and then drag it back up to the chart, it does not create the intended effect.

Whoever helps me on this gets a copy of the system

I can send some pics of how its supposed to look like
