Months ago, when everyone was talking about the need for confidence, I thought i knew what the best thing Darling could do...

Dye his hair, or bleach his eyebrows. How could you possibly have confidence when a guy who looks like that runs the economy?!?

Then I started thinking, if you think of entrepreneurs in this country two names come to mind, Sir Alan, and Sir Richard...

They both have beards!

I was definitely onto something.

Then I was channel flicking just now, and they had on working lunch about the last financial troubles, and who was in charge? Norman Lamont...black eyebrows, white hair!

I say we demand a bushy bearded ginger chancellor!

actually, shouldnt their eyebrows have to be a colour that isnt ginger, for the full effect to work?
