Help with Volume

Hello, I am wishing to add a bit of volume analysis into my trading. I understand forex volume can be shaky at best due to a lack of a centralised market but I have heard of tick volume and how this can be used instead.

Can anyone explain what tick volume is and how I get it up on MT4?

Tick volume is simply the frequency of price quote changes. The only real volume you will find readily available for the forex market comes from the futures exchanges.
