Help for a Hardware Buffoon

Hi,

Currently have a Dell 5100, with 2 17in monitors and a 256MB nVidia GE Force 6800 card.

Want to get a third 17in monitor.

What do I need, apart from the monitor ?

Had a look at the back of the drive (not sure why !), and could'nt see another slot to insert the adaptor from a third monitor - is there some sort of splitter available.

Do I need another card, upgraded one.

You can see my level of knowledge here, would appreciate some help.

you need a second graphic card...probably a PCI one, pop in any IT shop and they will sort you out for a cheap one.

NVidia NVS 280 is a good choice of graphics card for trading purposes. Dual head (VGA or DVI on each head), low power, no fan to create extra noise or potentially fail. You can get them cheaply on eBay. If you get one on ebay, make sure it comes with the Y cable, and is the right type - probably PCI.
