HBOS/Lloyds jobs

I don't like this pecking order way of doing things, but I suppose we will have to live it.

Lloyds have assured the Scots that the BOS part of the operation is no problem. Scottish jobs will be preserved.

The City of Halifax is not pleased- They are prepared to go to war with Lloyds to preserve the integrity of the Halifax Building Society's jobs, especially in Halifax.

So Lloyds, to keep the peace, will have to chop heads in points further south. Any Londoners around here working for HBOS?

Don't worry, Barcelona has LLoyds TSB and HBOS branches, too. What do you think their chances are?

I don't suppose the boss of Lloyds is bothered one way or another - he's just picked up a decent bank for a song. There'll be big job losses in banking.

Bet he's now glad Gordo & Co wouldn't let him have N Rock!
