Latest medal count confirms the dead on'es thought-ing that despite near bankruptcy the UK would make a nice US state. A valuable byproduct would be preservation of the English language - last thing the dead one needs is a Chinese takeover. The only downside of this UK-US union would be for how americans should cope with the antediluvian native misery of Brits and their hidden distaste and dislike of americans and anything american. Just to clarify for anyone reading, the default is BECAUSE of the legislation enacted by Congress regarding health care benefits. The Post Office warned when it was enacted that it was unsustainable under any current foreseeable future budgeting plan. But Congress ignored that. To date Congress also banned the PO from closing any PO branches as a move to save money and the PO cannot raise rates without prior approval of Congress. The USPS is being hung out to dry by Congress.

USA wins the medal count decisively. Her gopher, Great Britain came in 4th. Has anyone considered removing the term, GREAT and instead giving it to deserving, magnificent, stupendous Jamaica?

Unlike the Brits who blow every Brit who wins a medal - and endlessly I might add, we and only we do examine the downside and the nitty-gritty and the conclusion is clear - the old Soviet Union would have beaten us.

Yes, San Bernardino did, Stockton before that. The latter was the largest city in US history to go bust.

They say its the tip of the iceberg - that's why the dead one called the GREAT DEPRESSION 2 - I know-ed it was coming.

Damn shame really, CALIFORNIA, such a beautiful and talented state, from Hollyweird to Jet Propulsion Lab, its got it all. :):D

For me anyway it was not Phelps or any American's performance that thrilled. The 200-meter final was where the juice was at - where would Usain Bolt have clocked in had he not slowed in the latter 10 meters?

Still, gotta love the USA.

Having seen the condition of life in Britain lately I gotta urge Brits to clear out of that dump now and apply for US citizenship. :):D:LOL::LOL:

Dow Jones latest rally was called while it was in its infancy, aborning so to speak - and dig this, its still rallying. Dead one will call the end when he sees it.

A true HISTORIC top in the making. When the dead one calls the top there will be that 700+ point drop that I spoke about that will rival Fat Finger.

The Great Brits surely have forgotten Fat Finger. :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:
