Lord Atterbury 50/1

Red Rum is an anagram of Murder and he definitely murdered the field in the good old days

My money is on the bookie winning this year! (smart ar$e!)

Skim - I thought you'd go for #18.

Using a system which has never failed in the past, my money's on

17 Amberleigh House 16/1

Can someone explain on odds of 20/1 with a £2 unit stake e/w (£4 total stake) what return I should get?

Who's a clever Dow Dog then ?

Got 1st and 3rd.

Yippee - break open the champers !!!

See my previous selections.

I believe you get a quarter the odds for a place in that field, so £10 plus the E/W side of your stake back. £12.

It's been a while since I did the gee gees so I could be wrong.

So for a £4 total stake on a 20/1 horse bet e/w, less all the charges and stuff I get £10.20. Then you add the £6 I staked on 2 other horses. I made a grandtotal of 20p. What a waste of time that was.

btw - congrats Dow Dog, did you actually place the bets?

Yes I placed earlybets and put 20 pounds to win on the winner and 10 pounds each way on the 3rd place.

Total spend = 40 pounds.

Total return = 490 pounds all in all

Not too bad really !!

Sorry I don't have audited receipts and documents etc.....
