Hi all,

Can any of you recommend a good, and current, paper trading platform for stocks?

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion but don't you need to put a deposit down to even open a demo account with IB? Hoping to open a demo account without having to deposit any money if possible.

you do, failing that and a better idea might be to record all the trades you were hoping to make as they happen. That only requires a spreadsheet?

Spreadsheet is ready to go - was just hoping for something a little more like a trading platform if possible.

To name some brokers who allow the users paper trading - Optionshouse, OptionsXpress, TD Ameritrade, Scottrade. While some of these brokers ask you to become a client first, other don't have such regulations.

Best possible option is to look on google, perhaps "Virtual Trading Brokers" and you would find all the ifs and buts of the virtual trading account.
