No problem...I erased 85% of my capital yesterday when I got caught in the whip move after the fed decision...I knew gold was going down after but didnt short until it was too late...then IG locked up and my money disappeared faster than...well as fast as digital money can. Now on the long long long road to recovery.

Oh dear oh dear - Take it on the chin and put on a happy face, it's only money

Maybe a big lesson learned. Trade comfortably next time and try not to
risk a large % of your account - build up slowly. I've had my heaviest losses
in the last 2 days, but it's still comfortable.

I think I'll avoid 'stormy weather' trades in future. Not fun.

Gold also has a huge gap at $614.7 on daily chart 12 JAN 07!

Anyone got views on platinum? Down to $1k when normally it trades roughly twice the price of gold. Surely at these prices the manufacturers might be looking to stock up?
