I have a less technical question: can the decline in gold price be caused by the US dumping gold for dollar so that they can pay some of its debt at the end of the quarter? I'm kind of new at this, so just a thought...

I believe at least part of the selling is by US banks needing to raise capital.

They are hoarding as much cash as possible as they think that deflation is coming on a grand scale...which is bad for all assets. The problem is that it is a vicious circle globally that is terribly difficult to put right. It is very worrying to be honest.

August low was 774$ I believe (closed above 780$). That 774-800 seem to be holding so far and trend is up at this point. 790 looks to be in the card now. will hold the last contract for now....
