Here in the U.K. The Silver Forum is excellent. Yes, the name suggests it's all about silver rather than gold, but within it there is a bespoke gold forum. While there are many differences between the two metals, there are also many things they have in common and everyone (that I know of) in the precious metals space who has a primary interest in one metal will also take a keen interest in the other metal - such is their strong correlation.

The other really excellent feature of the forum is 'The Marketplace' where members can buy and sell precious metals. Approx' £2 million is transacted most months. Because sales are peer-to-peer, sellers can achieve a better price than bullion dealers will give them and buyers get products cheaper than they'd get them from dealers. It's a win:win situation. Keep in mind though that the best deals go very quickly and you have to have a subscription to see them the minute they're posted, but this will probably be paid for in £/$s saved or made in your first transaction.
Tim.
