Gaps on FXCM charts

I have a question re micro account with FXCM, if anyone can shed any light on this, would be appreciated.

Price continues from the end of one week into the next with no gap - ever. I know there won't always be a gap over this period but I have been back over a fairly long period of time across major currency pairs and can't see any.

Is this a 'feature' of FXCM's charting or am I missing something?

Regardless of account type, if you drop the timeframe to 1 minute, you'll notice the first candle drops from the closing price of the week before, to the opening price of the new week ie. you get one very big candle representing the gap.

So yes, it's a 'feature' of FXCM's charting.
