Futuresource being taken over, joining with eSignal

Ho hum. Futuresource have decent, institutional grade, if somewhat staid products. eSignal aim for the retail (read low grade) end of the market.

Any ideas or comments what this will mean for Futuresource's, er, future development ?

If eSignal have any sense, they will replace their own unreliable data feeds with Futuresource's

FutureSource has a better product & eSignal have far more data. I think this could be only good news for the end user. Time will tell

Not sure what you mean by a better product, I used to use Futuresource professional years ago which was basically TS4 but when I tried out their newer product last year I cancelled it after 1 month. Prefer esignal platform myself. Main issue with esignal is lack of historical data, no way to create back adjusted contracts and no continuous EU contract data. Hope FS can solve these.

I agree with you on the Professional issue. However their new product is way better. It's called "WorkStation". I just hope the products and customer service from both sides can get it together and we the users don't start to lose out.
