Just got a e-mail stating the following from CMC

'Open a Spread Betting account before 28th February, deposit £500 and we’ll credit your account with an extra £100.'

looks like the best trade I've seen in a while? where’s the catch?

I've got an account with CMC, but if the above is true, might get one opened for the wife (valentines and all that)

you cannot draw it out for 6 months, but thats about the only catch.
WS give u £250 towards any losses
City was giving £100
Total £450 i got to throw away

Interesting that TDWaterhouse, which uses City Index platform in a different colour, offers £150 free money, but you can't draw it out for 6 months.
