four percent model testing

i'm testing "four percent model"indicator(think or swim)daily charts.the continuing line always moves higher/lower with price action....until it reverses direction.but now i put the indicator on a dot form(to eliminate line)so now can i expect to see the dots ONLY at their high/low point and not a continuing moving thing like the line form?
