Hi folks, I am fairly new to forex, and I am wondering if there are many other forex traders out there who live in N Ireland. I went on a course last year run by John Bartlett, and found him to be excellant, he keeps things so simple, does not build it up as a get rich quick scheme, and in my opinion he tells it how it is. He does not talk about trades that make you thousands of pounds a go, but shows you how to go about making realistic trades.
I notice that he is running a course in Lisburn N.Ireland in early June, and for any local forex traders out there who are struggling or those who are tempted to have a look I for one was very impressed with John.
So if anyone wants to have a chat with me, as I am finding this forex trading fascinating, but a little lonely, let me know. Happy pip hunting.👍

Heard v. mixed reviews on this guy, IMHO you cannot "scalp the forex" using SB which is what he professes to teach...Trading doesn't have to be lonely bud, not now you've found T2W 😈

John does a seperate scalping course but this is not what I attended. IMHO I have been to a few of these free seminars run by others but they did not impress me. However for me I could not fault John B in any way.

Hi Mark, thanks for the message. I like you use the term forex trader loosely, but am fascinated by this whole subject. I am in Poyntzpass ( if passing through don't blink or you will miss it ). I would be happy to have a chat with you, as it seems we are at a similar stage in our forex journey. Let me know the best way to make contact. I'm off now to watch the golf.

in my country there are also very difficult to get the good forex course. So I try to attend webinars to increase my knowledge.
 
I have found a very popular and successful method for trading the Forex, by a lady called Linda Forrester, who runs www.perfectforextrading.com and she uses the method to earn her monthly wages, although at the moment I'm only supplementing the household income.

I have been using the system for around 4 months now, and after demo trading for the first one, I have found the method very easy to follow and provides consistently profitable results. I had tried countless other methods but they either didn't live-up to the published results, or were too complicated for a newbie like myself to understand. The strategy is a simple one, no complicated entry's or exits and has definitely helped me to understand the market more.

Well worth a try if you are new to the market (or a pro) - and I only paid around £30 for the manual.

Off the top of my head I couldn't tell you where other reviews are, it was recommended to me by a friend. My view was that it was only £30 so was worth a try. Bit of a cliche but, it was the best £30 I had spent for a while back when I purchased it.
 
ok, I`ll think out and maybe I`ll try it... I just don`t know is it worth because except you I see no positive reviews and you are new to this forum so you understand me)
 
Hmm looks like forex-king is increasing their postcount there!

In terms of John he is one of the few people I could recommend as providing value for money. Luckily his course was the first thing I bought to learn about trading and although I certainly entertained a lot of dross after that it provided good knowledge and a sensible grounding early on.
 
not sure if he is from northern Ireland but an Irish guy runs makemoneycurrencytrading dot co dot uk .They do free training and free webinars for beginners and more advanced forex traders. They are also one of the only companies that runs a live portfolio based on their strategies which shows there are making cash.
 
The site owner is trying to selling the system on eBay as well.

The eBay auction page contains trading blog recording the daily win/lose of the seller. I wrote to them to ask the following question:

"Is your trade duplicable with precision rules? Can I get a refund if I fail to mirror your result?"​

The answer was fairly evasion:

It sounds like you have been ‘burnt’ before when investing in trading systems – which I am sorry to hear if this is the case. You seem to have a very pessimistic outlook. There is unfortunately quite a few system vendors out there that sell strategies that do not work.

If you were to read my feedback you would see that overwhelmingly nearly all my customers are happy with the information I have provided. In all, I have sold around 600+ system manuals and I can count on one hand the amount of questions I have had regarding entry signals. It is an easy, simpe to learn strategy which requires no special chart reading techniques. It is also very profitable.

My aim is to allow as many people as I can to learn how to trade the markets easily without charging them a fortune for the information. The reason I have set the price so low is so that nobody has to think twice about spending the money to buy the system. It is the price of a couple of rounds of drinks in the pub. Most of the questions I do have before people buy is: “Why Is It So Cheap” !!

In answer to your question, I would say that you should start again with your trading education, read as much as you can about the whole industry – and research into designing your own system – as I did when I started. This is the best way to learn and have a skill that you can use to earn unlimited amounts of money for the rest of your life. It will take a long while though – trading is NOT a ‘Get Rich Quick’ opportunity – it’s the same as learning to be a Doctor/Lawyer – years and years of hard work, dedication and going out without the finer things in life for a while (ie: delayed gratification)

Anyone know of any Forex trading courses in Ireland at all? Theres just something about web based learning that turns me off.

I like to be able to put my hand up.. say stop.. Im not getting what you said, explain it another way.

There are many different fundamental indicators and technical indicators that impact the markets.

Central bank speculation, national economic reports (unemployment, home building, etc.), national trade activity, etc.

I would suggest as a beginner, mastering your strategy whatever it may be and tracking your success in a risk-free demo environment. Test out how you are able to handle your emotions and make sure that you have a solid trading method that you believe in. Toughness and a good approach are what makes a great trader.
