Few questions on becoming a broker

Hi, I just have a few questions on the road to becoming a stock broker and was hoping someone could help me answer them.
1) What are some good books to read on preparing to take the FSA UK exam?
2)Is this exam relevant in the USA or would I have to take the Series 7 exam?
3)If I take the exam through a stock brokerage, do I have to stay with them or can I move around brokerages?

I think you have a long road ahead of you. What's your background if you don't mind me asking? I could be wrong, but it sounds like you chase a dream without knowing what your dream is.

I'm 21, finish a degree in business uni next July in the UK. When I finish I wan't to work for a stock brokerage then get transferred to New York where I can live 'Happily ever after' so yeah, you could say a dream.
