Excel Worksheet Question

Would appreciate if someone could provide an answer to the following problem i'm having with excel.

What i'm trying to do is add values from different worksheets into one main work sheet .
E.g. in worksheet 1 cell a1 contains the value 35 in worksheet 2 cell a1 contains the value 55. What i'd like to do is to total the sum of those two figures in cell a1 of worksheet 3. I'm sure there will be a simple formula to do this but can't see it in my learn office in 24 hours book.

Hope someone can provide the answer .

I would be grateful for a solution to the following.

if A1 = 1.79, i would like in B1 to show A1 rounded down to the next whole integer, so B1 would be 1 and so on down the Spreadsheet.

ROUNDDOWN(number,num_digits)

Number is any real number that you want rounded down.

Num_digits is the number of digits to which you want to round number.
