everytime some major scheduled news comes out, Eurex experiences slowdowns. For example, just now on the Chicago PMI.
The exchange blames this every time on "heavy order flow" on their servers, but really, I dont see how an exchange can legitimately use this as an excuse! it really is inexcusable for the EXCHANGE to be unable to efficiently handle its own orderflow.
Eurex seriously needs to sort out its matching engine, these slowdowns are becoming more and more frequent and I hope they pay for their failings in lost volume.
