Hi

I mainly trade US stocks and find IBD (www.investors.com) very useful for zooming in on quality stocks.

Does any company in the UK do the same as IBD for UK stocks?

Hi bikhod,

I've been asked this many times in the past, and have yet to find a site that ranks UK stocks like IBD.

For some reason, the U.S. seem to be generally more of a stock-buying culture and information about the U.S. Stockmarket seems to be more readily available to the public than over here.

The closest thing I found for UK stocks was the Data Mining feature in Sharescope, but it's still nowhere near as comprehensive as some of the data available in the U.S. for their stockmarket.

It is for the very reasons that you give that I only trade US shares: the quality of information is just so much higher over there.

Let's hope IBD do a UK version ....

I absolutely agree.

However, I think that even if the same information became available for UK stocks, I would still stick with U.S. Stocks as they are far cheaper to trade......broker commissions are lower and there is no stamp duty to pay.
