I've been working on a system for the sp emini and I was wondering if somone could answer a question for me. On 4/1/2005 prices exceeded both the low and the high of the 3/31/2005 bar. What I'm wondering is this: Did prices hit the low on 4/1/2005 before exceeding the 3/31/2005 high?

If anyone has could shed some light on this I would grateful.

Prices exceeded the high before exceeding the low..........

Thanks, based on where the market closed that day I had suspected that this is what happened.

I'm going to ask my original question again but the date I'm wondering about this time is 10/6/2005. What was made first the high or a low that broke the 10/5/2005 low?

The high was made first.( The previous days low was taken out overnight by one point, then price went on to it's days high then dropped off lower than the previous day low). Hope that makes sense to what you're looking for.

So before the high was made, the 10/5/200 low was taken out during the overnight session? Just wanted to make sure.

Here is the chart as I have it. Might be clearer for you.
