Electric Word is a company that will move forward as it has its own specialist market. I have been tracking Electric Word from 8 March 2005.

Company Profile.

Established in 2000, Electric Word Plc is a mixed media publishing company, acting as a holding company for Peak Performance Publishing Limited and was floated on the AIM in March 2000.

The group specialise in sports science, health, education and funding publishing. it currently produces a number of titles - the sports science newsletter Peak Performance, Sports Injury Bulletin, Wormen's Health Research and nine education management newsletters under the Optimus brand.

Now you can see how and why the Group has good cash flow. As i see it sport is going to red hot at the moment and indeed the next few years...

Preliminary Results.
For the year ended 30 November 2005.

Strong improvement in profits and margins.

Profit before tax and good will improves to £451k (£10k).
Margin before tax and goodwill improves from 2% to 7%.
Turnover increases 13% to £6.2m (£5.5m).
69% of Group revenue from renewable subscriptions.
Strong balance sheet maintained.
Acquisitions of Fieldwork Online Training in June and Teaching Expertise magazine in Decemer 2005 continue to build education portfolio.
Acquisition of SportBusiness Group in December 2005 signifcantly strengthens sports publishing division and expands customer base and products.
Current year started well, with trading in line with Board's expectations.

At the close of the London Stock Exchange on Friday the shares closed at 9.5p with an upward trend.

Electric Word, The strength and strategy has been to build a database of customers and create a range of specialist information products to meet their needs, the strength and quality of the business is illustrated by the fact that in 2005 69% of revenue came from renewable subscriptions.

Number 2. At the end of a days trading, the market makers take a view on the red bid trading or blue offer trading. More offer trading will give an up-trend, more bid trading is profit-taking P.T. down trend. The trend is on the days trading not past price.

I have noted that Stewart Newton has made an offer for 600,000 extra shares. Mr. Newton's total holding stands at 19,470.000 ordinar shares, with a total percentage holding of 17.1%.

The shares were trading at last night close at 9p, Which to my mind is a low price.

The share price has been drifing down for some days now, however as I write I note that the share price stands at 8.25p and that the market makers show an up trend.

I bought in at 8.15p has anyone bought shares in the company? or got any news flow for others to view?

Well its taken time but I have now noted that at the close of business last night that the share price had traded back up to 8.38p. showing an up-trend.

The Chairmans report letter is indeed very upbeat for the next trading year.
