Donchain Channel Indicator

Hello all, I am new to the forums, I ran a search on the "donchain channel indicator" and nothing came up... so i decieded to make a thread to pose the question: How effective is it as a guide to position trade? shorting at breaks below & buying at breaks above? thanks.
