US Dollar – Breaking Below 100

DXY trades around 99.85, having hit a low of 99.42. The Fed held rates but three FOMC members dissented, while Japan's intervention and hawkish signals from the BoJ triggered a massive USD/JPY selloff. The 100.00 level has now turned into strong resistance.
Key levels: Support 99.42–99.38, 99.00; Resistance 100.00–100.45.
Outlook: Bearish below 100.00. NFP data on Friday will set direction.

USD/JPY – Yen Surges Most in a Decade

USD/JPY tumbled from 164 to 155.23, its lowest in six months. The BoJ delivered a hawkish hold (signaling a potential September hike) combined with direct intervention – the largest yen rally in a decade.
Key levels: Support 155.23, 155.00, 152.30; Resistance 157.17, 158.00.
Outlook: Bearish. Intervention risk remains elevated.

WTI Crude – Plunges Below $80

WTI crude fell 7% to $78.57/bbl as Trump agreed to pause strikes on Iran and resumed peace talks. Despite Iran blocking tankers and Ukraine attacking a Russian refinery, markets are focused on diplomatic signals.
Key levels: Support $77.57, $75.24 (200-day MA); Resistance $80.00, $81.73.
Outlook: Bearish below $80.00. Watch geopolitical headlines.

Gold – Holding Near $4,050

Gold trades around $4,050/oz, recovering slightly as US-Iran peace talks reduced inflation pressures. However, September Fed hike expectations (~68%) continue to cap gains. Markets are now focusing on US jobs data.
Key levels: Support $4,000–$3,982; Resistance $4,062–$4,100.
Outlook: Neutral, range-bound $4,000–4,100.

ASX200 – Breaks Above 9,000

ASX200 rose 0.5% to 9,019, breaking above 9,000. Investors welcomed Trump's pause on Iran strikes and upbeat Australian manufacturing data. Utilities (+2.1%) and Industrials (+1.36%) led gains.
Key levels: Support 9,000–8,900; Resistance 9,086.
Outlook: Bullish above 9,000.

Nikkei225 – Pressured by Strong Yen

Nikkei225 fell 0.94% to 63,755. The yen's surge – its biggest in a decade – weighed heavily on export-oriented stocks. Auto and semiconductor sectors led declines.
Key levels: Support 63,500–63,000; Resistance 64,500–65,000.
Outlook: Bearish below 64,000. Yen is the key driver.
