Does anyone here do options on City Index? If so, what experience do you have of the spreads?
I was long a call last week and it was doing well. So I was looking to go flat. But the spread was 6 points! The spreads of the strikes above and below mine were 5 and 4 points respectively.
When I asked them about it they said that option spreads were fixed at 5 points, Thougt that was obviously not the case as I was watching one that was 4 points at the same time.
Anyway, after I took off my option the spread went from 6 points to 4 points. That felt very dubious to me.
Were City Index screwing me on the spread? Or was there a legitimate reason why the spread suddenly narrowed?
