Daytrading US Stocks - Fast Information?

Hello there. My plan is to trade US stocks with IGindex. I have one question.

- Which is the best information source out there when it comes to US stocks ?
(NEW information that affects US stocks within 5 minutes charts)

I'm kinda lost when it comes to trading gear so I would really appreciate your help!

Briefing.com is pretty good but I would also get CNBC. I have to say that in my view day-trading US stocks with a SB company is fraught with difficulties.

Agree with Paul here, why trade stocks as a newbie? there is no way it is economically viable, I would suggest a revamp of your plans and take a dive into the world of.... Indices...

And presuming you're a newbie, do not trade the news, you will crash and burn, unless you have a degree in economics and advanced qualifications and the know how on all the fundamentals of the analysts research and companies, just don't do it.

I say you should get a demo account and get to grips with the charting packages, work out a system and test it, only then should you risk 10p per point on the tradesense program with IG..
