Hi..This forum is for traders who trade Brent or WTI spreads on the Intercontinental exchange.
i myself trade for a propshop out of India and we have around 15 oiltraders ..we trade mainly into spreads ,entering and exiting them throughout the day..

This forum should facilitate various strategies to trade these deceptive spreads .
traders from different propshops (as they mainly trade spreads) are welcome to share their views in this forum.

What is the advantage trading ICE over NYMEX (electronic)?

ICE provides ample liquidity during european hours too as compared to CME globex(nymex electronic)...and spreads are quite active in ICE ..I am not sure about them being that active in Nymex...By the wt who do u trade for and wt do u trade..

I dont understand why do u find it boring...I am a scalper and down to my skin...As of recent entries..i traded the entire range of brent spread yesterday entering every single price and exiting with a tick or two profit(no loss yesterday..they do happen often)...It may not be ur style..but I trade for 12 hrs a day and i tell u ..its not boring..

Brent now premium to Nymex anyone know what this might mean ?
no clue bro..yesterday brent -wti gap was around $2.75..I guess one can go long on brent -wti spread at this moment...but then it is only in the case of active contrace(nearing expiry)..farther month's gap isnt that profound..
