Correlations Question????

I want to know what other financial markets effect the currency's that are traded??? For example if crude oil is up it is likely that there are correlating currency that is parralell or inverse to that market or gold? I have watched when the european stock market get's hammered the euro pair starts selling-off... Where can I find more information on correlations that effects the currency markets??? Or what other markets effects the currency, because this method can give you more of a confirmation into the markets I think.... thank you

There are certainly plenty of correlations on at any given time, and generally a quick look at the charts will tell you what they are. Be careful putting too much faith in them, however. They have a nasty habit of changing. You need to know what is causing the correlations, which is usually a fundamentals question.
