Corn vs Wheat

Hi,

I am just wondering about the flexibility of supply for these grains - would it be more difficult for a farmer to convert to a wheat or a corn farm? What takes longer to harvest? Also which one is more vulnerable to environmental conditions?

Hi,
it's also about the corn/wheat feed ratio used by the cattle industry. This info is hard to get accurately and won't help much for daily, short-term trading. Howerver one can look at difference across the curve in the corn/wheat spread (CBOT futures) any discrepancy at a given expiry is a trading opportunity. Look at July 2 versus the rest of the curve and let me know if you agree.
