Are you talking short on short- term basis or long term. If you talking about longterm these prices are bargain.

I've been selling gold for the last 2 days. technical analysis indicates a further sell off is due
i think long term gold will continue to appreciate on the back of demand from asia.

I think it should go below 600 again in the next few months.

You think...so you do not know.......so your headline "Buy Gold and Die" is the sort of opinionated nonsense which swamps the ether

Ever read any Gore Vidal? You should. You will learn why ignorance is the most common commodity

Buy gold and stick it away. WGC sponsored gold ETF's went through 600 tons last week ..
highest total ever...There were only tiny redemptions when the gold dipped back to 633 which is
the same pattern as when gold dipped to 550 ..The investors in that product arent giving anything up....its in strong hands..If you include then ishares ETF (Barclays run rather than HSBC) the total
is 20.4Moz = 635t. This is also the size of the net long position on Comex at the moment, but the ETF is very sticky. The highest ever spec position on Comex was 21.3Moz (October 2005) which looks set to be passed by the ETFs in the coming weeks. If the ETFs were a central bank they would rank 10th having passed China’s official 600t in mid-December. Next on the list is the Dutch with 654t and the ECB with 663t.

Even better think about Platinum. Lot of rumours about PL ETF. If that gets passed. Doubt it will get through CFTC but FSA may well pass it. Not a lot produced and essential demand...gonna create interesting political situation i imagine.
