I've only been trading forex so far but I'm very interested in trading (FX) Vanilla options since the risk/profit ratio seems very good.
I was now wondering which broker might be suitable for me. I'm exculsively trading with little money (500-1000 USD account size), but I'd like a broker who does actually execute my orders on the underlying markets, not a market maker or similar. Performance of their software would be crucial to me since I'd like to do some of my trades on a small streaming laptop.
Can anyone recommend a broker? I'd be happy if you would share our experience and I'm looking forward to your replies.

EDIT: Interactive Brokers seems to be promising, but their Java-Software is quite slow and really not suitable for laptops with small screen.
