Hi,

I am looking at the Barclays Barxfx platform. There are price gaps between the open and close of the dailys. They told me this is because there is a 25min downtime when there is no pricing and no orders can be placed. I have never heard of this. Does this occur with other brokers?
thanks

ETX have 5 minutes downtime I think at 12 o'clock for forex.

Probably a good thing though Scotty, daily maintenance of servers and what not.

Hi Waterfield

The FX rates go on 'CALL' for 1 minute between midnight and 00:01. This is to reset highs and lows for a new trading day. At that time all orders remain working and you are able to trade over the telephone if you need to.

thanks, Rob.
