Whoops Too Much vino
Pardon me gents.
Just re-read last night's post. Perhaps a bit obnoxious. Too much vino..
Sorry Mikeyfx. Didn't realise you were from SA and couldn't open your file but guessed it was LaReusch spouting off his conspiracy theories.
Well I Think LR is a nutter. Philosophically he's naive and some of his economics are, in my opinion wildly contradictory. I mean how can you be a Platoist (and ex-Marxist) who believes in capaitalism?
Clearly he has an intellect, which gives him a credibility advantage over other conspiracy looneys like David Ike. Some of his observations are, infact, quite interesting, but it doesn't alter the fact that the hypothesies that guys like him espouse are based on the notion that everything bad happening in the world is part of some big plan - conceived and controlled by some organised illuminati guys. In my opinion such a project has far too many variables to be micromanaged as he suggests.
Anyway. Thought provoking discussion and next time I'll turn off the PC after my second glass of wine.
Happy New Year.

QUOTE=Drummer Boy;622272]Hi Gent's,
I agree agree about the SA thing. You know what they used to call police there? "Rope-ies". Why? Because they were reputed to be "Thick Twisted and Hairy". I should know. My ex-wife married one! "Back of the net!"
But guys.. La Rouche? I thought that this was suposed to be a trading forum! However, I must conceed that philosophy is a far more interesting topic. In my view it's not "all" about moving averages, RSI's, SAR strategies or even quantitative easing, balance of payments deficits or Gordon and the Morons etc... It's about people. You and me. And what we do and why. In every aspect of our lives. Including making money.
So here's your "starter for ten": Do you subscibe to the Aristotle or Plato school of thought?
I'm not sitting here trying to being a smart-****. Check out the views of these two dead Greek herberts and let me know. BTW. In my view, LaRouche is definitiely in the Plato camp.
