I am moving to Bristol (UK) in the coming months and have just started researching fund managers, stockbrokers, hedge funds, private equity etc in Bristol and the surrounding area (eg. Bath), as this is where my career ambitions lie.
My goal is to sit the IMC asap, and then potentially move onto the CFA afterwards. My question is therefore related to the Bristol job market, as I appreciate that most jobs of this nature are in London. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which companies have a presence in Bristol (eg. Hargreaves Lansdown) or otherwise which recruitment agencies to approach. I am particularly interested in a job as a investment analyst / researcher. I am a qualified ACA, so would also consider an accountancy / operations role to get my foot in the door.
Any help would be much appreciated.
