breaking news

Does anyone trade breaking news ? Using AFX Pro from IG Index, a bit slow and not enough depth to be frank. Reuters and Bloomberg are obviously ideal but far too expensive.
I generally combine TA with breaking news to find good stocks but also have listys just for TA and breaking news, esp now that the earning season is with us.

Any ideas anyone ?

Their news service is pretty good.

You could checkout NewsStrike which is a free news squawk, for US stocks and economic numbers.

If you're prepared to pay for a breaking newsreader service, you cant beat RANsquawk which covers UK and US markets, and soon the singapore markets too.

many thanks for all you rreplies guys. Isn`t it funny hwo prices go up a week before earnings are announced ? Unlike our city/wall st friends we have to buy more or less at the top or bottom. Oh well.
