blimey, nice to see a bit of uumph in the ES for a change

Two of the PIIGS caught swine flu from S&P.
Let's hope it's not the UK next.........

Lack of oomph in the ES is why I stopped trading it for a while. I found it very difficult to find good set-ups with such tight ranges. Forex has been much better for me lately. Might a swell stick with what's working.

Can someone explain this to me please . . .the first 'I' was for Ireland because of their financial difficulties. No argument there. The second 'I' is (I believe) for Italy - although I''m not too sure why. Whatever their economic woes - surely they're nothing compared to Iceland's - yet the ash producer doesn't feature in the acronym?

Good day shorting US stocks as well Garry :)
Richard

yep, had a Weekly Long from 1203 which fizzled out pretty much for a scratch,
and then a Weekly Short from 1193 adding to the Daily Short from 1203, so not too bad so far.

the next support i have, to cover, is at 1177, with 1167.5 beyond that, so it could turn out to be a helluva session :)

Hi Tim,
Iceland is not part of the EU yet, but is a member of the European Economic Area.
Other economic facts:
Iceland is a large importer of other countries cash. Being surrounded by sea they remove the c from cash and export ash in its place.
Iceland is also a large exporter of ice cubes and weird pop singers.
Iceland used to be a major exporter of cod until we liberated their supplies some years ago.
There really isn't much more to say about Iceland.
