I have just been asked about binary options etc from a friend, and asked if I could do some due diligence on his behalf, so here I am amongst all of you experts to ask a few questions if I may.

What are people opinions on 23option.com

Is it possible to return 5% per day consistently

What is the best broker to use.

what are peoples opinions on t4xbinary.com

what are the best threads to read on binaries, options etc.

Hi Mr Fox,
I can't comment on either of the brokers you mention or recommend one - as I don't trade binary options. However, if you read any threads on here regarding binary brokers - it appears that a lot of them are unregulated and a few of them are more dodgy than a very dodgy dodgy thing! So, if you are going to trade binaries, at least stick with the big name firms with a well established reputation to protect.

As for making 5% per day consistently; hell will freeze over before that happens. That's not to say that no one has made returns this good in a single day - I'm sure they have - and probably a great deal more besides. However, getting lucky with a few wild punts is one thing, making consistent gains week in week out is another matter entirely. Think about it logically. 5% per day is 25% per week or 100% per month or 1,200% per annum. And that's uncompounded. It ain't gonna happen. Period. Walk away from anyone who even has the temerity to suggest that it might. Correction: run as fast as you can.

Good luck to your friend - he's gonna need it by the truck load!

Thank you for your honest reply Tim.
I did not want to name or shame any companies, and I must admit I did water-down their expected daily returns in their example of 15% return per day.

I do not understand anything about binaries etc, so I thought id put the question out to the knowledge of this forum, and I appreciate the knowledge, and replies I get.

These brokers are at best dodgy and some of them are fraudsters and criminals. Binary option brokers make money from their clients losses, or to put it another way if you win they lose. They are therefore heavily incentivised to ensure you lose. It's actually worse than gambling, at least if you bet on a horse the bookie can't change the result, in binary options they can.

Your friend hasn't a hope in hell of making money trading binary options.

Hi Mr Fox,
You appear to be saying that there are binary brokers who are suggesting that returns of 15% per day are achievable on a consistent basis? If you don't want to name and shame 'em - PM me a link to their site and I'll do it myself - as that's absolutely outrageous.

However, a note of caution is required, as the precise wording of such claims is critical. If they state that some of their clients have been known to make profits in excess of 15% in a single day - then that's almost certainly true and they'll be able to back it up. It's misleading of course and ethically questionable, but that's marketing for you and applies to a great many products and services across the board - not just those in the financial industry.

Lets just say that what I'm about to post is exactly what t4xbinary sent my friend, so I'm not naming or shaming, yet just posting their eg. verbatum with their 70% garuntee, and 85% success rate.






Trading account : £10,000


Risk / Trade size : 3% = £300 / trade


Trading signals will send : 5 times a day

Number of trading days = 20 days in a month




5 X 20 days = 100 signals in a month X £300/trade

= £30,000 X 80% payout

It's totally ridiculous pie in the sky fantasy to suppose you're going to turn £10k into almost £27k in a month. If it were true, the world would be beating a path to their door! So, my advice would be not to walk or run away from these people. Get on a bullet train, hire a Ferrari for the day - do whatever it takes to get as far away from them as fast as humanly possible.

I thought I'd take a look at their site and ended up having a brief chat with someone called Nikhil. Here's the transcription:

LOL.
That's quite funny, as that's the first question I asked, and was given a roundabout answer of the company you place trades with 24.option.com is, that told me all I needed to know about them, then I actually rang 24option, and they are in the process of getting registered(according to them), again that's all I needed to know about them too, and with this evidence it was easy to convince my friend.

Lets see what pboyles comes up with, as it may be interesting too.

If you check most of the binary option brokers running their business from Cyprus and their head office is in Israel. All are connected. I tried few binary brokers and the price difference is huge. I lost money several times because they are manipulating the price chart. In a same time you'll find two different price in two different platforms. CyCES which is good for nothing can't control a single broker neither they will listen to you complain. The main reason to build CySEC is to show investors it's safe. Cyprus economy wasn't good and that's why they gave Israeli investors to run these sort of cheating business world wide. I know some people will oppose here but I know you're working or owner of some Binary Options company. Keep safe.

Better to go in a casino and spend it rather than signup with any Binary Option company. At least you'll see how's your money going but with binary you can't even get how's your money gone. They are all crap.

Well not everyone is who you think, David. Mr Fox the thread starter has a system on the FTSE that makes 15-20% a week, but he can't trade it, and instead does due dilligence for his friends on various binary option companies by coming to a forum and asking.

is it just me, or do others share the view that horse racing is in general a far more honest medium than most (certainly more honest than 'binary betting') as a trading medium?

As a a punter of 41 years experience, I can tell that the vast majority of people on this forum are mired so deeply in mental bull's ordure that it's doubtful they'll ever get out of it. The fantasies they are chasing are much more far-fetched and less likely to come about than that of your average horse racing punter.
 
When it comes to binaries I would stick with reputable firm like IG.
Now even someone like IG does use dirty tricks when it comes to binaries (rejections and changing the odds on you afterwards), so i can only imagine what what the less reputable firms get up to.

You cannot use a system to print money on binaries, the firm can always shut you down or widen the spread on your favourite instrument.

That said there is sometimes some low risk money to be made if you are very patient and then get in before the crowd does when the time comes to act.
