Hi Guys,

I just found this method on one of the website.

I was tracking this method since last few days and it showed good results.

You need to enter previous day high and low for any scrip.

Also, enter the same day high and low till 10:15 am.

Now you generate the prices.

more information is available on

http://intraday.weebly.com

i am posting results for few days.

Hi radha55,
I hate to say it, but there's a faint whiff of spam about this thread. You haven't explained the system clearly and have posted something in the region of 70 'trades', all of which have achieved their target. By that, I assume you mean they're profitable. 70 profitable trades on the trot, while not impossible, is nonetheless very unusual. 99.9% of the time, traders who make such claims either:
A. aren't traders at all and are just cherry picking hypothetical trades with the benefit of hindsight or . . .
B. are using 'Spanish Stops'. In other words, they're not using stops at all and just wait for price (eventually) to swing the right side of their entry for a very modest profit.
The problem with A. is that anyone can do this and it proves nothing, and the problem with B. is that anyone can also do this and it proves that they don't really understand what they're doing or that, one day, they will almost certainly blow up their account.
Which category are you in?
Tim.

The last one is also 100% Target achieved but he had to edit the entry
to defend the accuraccy of his report.

I want to know the difference between Buy triggered ABC. Target achieved
and Sell Triggered for ABC. Target achieved.

Is there a Members' Choice Awards for intraday trading record. This seems
to be one of those no sweat trading system all around that Goldman Sachs
wants to buy

sorry as timsk said ..have you ever lost on any trades ?.. think you should post the losers along with the winners so people can get a better idea of risk/reward.. could we see some of the trades that were triggered and then stopped out for a loss please?

You are still only picking the winning trades - this is misleading - what is the reward when this target is reached (in % terms ?) - when your "system" gets it wrong how much do you lose ? - not sure what you are trying to prove (or sell ?) here - but you keep banging away with these useless updates - if you understood what you are doing you would be happy to give more info.

Yes indeed dealer911, I quite agree. I think you've hit the nail on the head with your comment "not sure what you are trying to prove (or sell ?) here". radha55 has at least one foot over the spam threshold and, if this was a trade, I'd be happy to bet the farm that his other foot will cross over with his next few posts. Another pointless and meaningless thread. Caveat emptor and all that.
Tim.

Not saying you are wrong Tim etc. but have you visited the website given in post 1 ?

here are the figures for today's CAC so we can see if they are close.

buy at-----target----S/L-----sell at---Target----S/L
3703------ 3721-----3666----3584-----3566------3620

Well I have just checked to see how the above forecast is getting on ...................................and..................blow me down with a feather its just made its target

Congrats to radha55

Hi Pat,
Sticking up for the underdog - good man! Thanks to you, radha55's second leg is still the right side of the spam threshold! Just. (Perhaps he'll give you a discount!) Even so, I think the points in mine and dealer911 posts are still valid. My maths isn't great, but this is what I've calculated based on this one trade (pretty meaningless, I know, but . . .)
Long
Target: 18
Stop Loss: 34
Profit : Loss ratio: 1 : 1.8

Short
Target: 18
Stop Loss: 54
Profit : Loss ratio: 1 : 3

The average Profit : Loss ratio over the two possible outcomes is: 1 : 2.4 (rounded up to 2.5 for comm's and slippage!)

So, if the losing trades lose 2.5 times more than the winning trades gain, by my calculation, the strategy will need a Win : Loss ratio of 2.6 : 1 just to break even. That's equal to 72% winners. To make money consistently over time, the system will need a strike rate of 80% or better. Granted, it's been 100% successful so far, but that's unsustainable and, as I suggested in an earlier post, there's a nasty whiff of Spanish style stops in the air which makes me queasy. Fair play to you though for being devil's advocate and, as a consequence, I'll keep my mind open a little longer than I would have otherwise!
;)
Tim.
