best software

can anyone give some advise on good software to use for spread betting, i currently use cmc markets but looking to change to something with a all round better platform
any advice will be appreciated

i have gad a look at them and might give it a try out,
is there a big difference between company's like cmc and ig index compared to the ones that charge a monthly fee to use there platforms and software ?

I've recently downloaded metatrader 4 for forex trading, it seems to be better than most of the web based trading systems you get with different firms, and I 'think' you can hook it into the spread betting companies systems (those that allow remote software that is).
