Is there any way to research the massive amount of material of this site based upon ratings?
Is there for instance a way to find a list of threads sorted by their cumulative post ratings? The current star system isn't that useful a guide in most cases. And would it be possible to get a sorted lost of even individual posts based on their ratings?
While there is an awful lot of good stuff to be discovered from the past, I am equally certain there would be an even larger amount of possibly less useful stuff and while I am more than happy to do the hard yards, there are only 24 hours in each day so a peer-ratings based sorted list would be a truly useful thing.
I know there have been and continue to be efforts in assembling what is deemed the more useful topics and threads into archive and FAQ type sub-forums, I think the rating approach could be a real boon.
