This is one I've gone for - on a short basis, but unfortunately for me it has continued to rally after I opened my position and is now threatening to break through the £23 level. I'd be very interested in your views on whether you think it's about to break out or has gone as far as it is going to go.

It's in a good rising trend, and the proposal that it might sell
part of it's mortgage book for £900mill has not affected it too much.

barc will very soon scrip 4 for 1 and the share price will be around 475, in theory making it more attractive to the small invester--- we will see !!!

Hi all

Barclays has been so range bound for the last 6 months. There was a strong reversal yesterday that for me confirms the resistance is still intact. For me to go short I'm looking for a close below 2300, (the high made in Mid March).

The main thing in Braclays favour is that the rest of the banking sector is doing well, which might drag it up.
