Hi guys
I have recently left a small MM firm outside of the city. I spent over 4 years there and did pretty well but do not feel I want to continue in this role and am thinking about moving to London and pursuing a career in private banking.
However I have no formal qualifications in finance and my knowledge base outside of derivatives is limited. I also have not been exposed to banking culture / working in the city. I have a degree (1st in Computing) then joined my previous job straight after.
My plan is to move, find an entry level job then take a few courses (ISM + CFA Level 1) , study a ton of books then seem if I can make a move into PB.
Was wondering if anybody has any advice or reccomendations which are likely to make me more employable?
