Backtesting

Hi

Can anyone recommend any software/programs for backtesting futures trading strategies

Any info would be helpfull

The industry standard product for backtesting is TradeStation .

There are two different versions in use (7.x and 2000i) which are currently being discussed on this thread...

Alternatively, if you can program in something like Visual Basic et al you can just program and test your own strategies in Excel.

I've heard that Amibroker is good for back-testing, but I've never used it.
