Argentina's stocks and bonds lost ground Friday due to weakness in overseas markets and light profit-taking.Argentina's Merval Index shed 1.89% to close at 1761.61 points. Volume was low at ARS29 million ($8 million).
Bonds also performed poorly, with the benchmark peso-denominated bond falling 3.29% in price terms to ARS82.20, to yield 14.14%.The dollar-denominated Boden 2012 fell 2.69% in price terms to ARS271.50, to yield 20.98%.The peso fell to 3.8425 to the dollar from 3.8375 Thursday.
