Are You Ready For War With Demonized Iran?

Black Swan

For anyone who has become utterly dismayed by the one sided coverage of the Iran election news this article from ICH offers up some comfort. Doesn't go far enough to uncover/expose wtf Dick Cheney is (still) up to but it's a small oasis in a desert of propoganda. Check out the comments section after the article, you are not alone...

June 16, 2009 "Information Clearing House" -- How much attention do elections in Japan, India, Argentina, or any other country, get from the US media? How many Americans and American journalists even know who is in political office in other countries besides England, France, and Germany? Who can name the political leaders of Switzerland, Holland, Brazil, Japan, or even China?

Yet, many know of Iran’s President Ahmadinejad. The reason is obvious. He is daily demonized in the US media.

The US media’s demonization of Ahmadinejad itself demonstrates American ignorance. The President of Iran is not the ruler. He is not the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. He cannot set policies outside the boundaries set by Iran’s rulers, the ayatollahs who are not willing for the Iranian Revolution to be overturned by American money in some color-coded “revolution.”

Iranians have a bitter experience with the United States government. Their first democratic election, after emerging from occupied and colonized status, in the 1950s was overturned by the US government. The US government installed in place of the elected candidate a dictator who tortured and murdered dissidents who thought Iran should be an independent country and not ruled by an American puppet.

The US “superpower” has never forgiven the Iranian Islamic ayatollahs for the Iranian Revolution in the late 1970s, which overthrew the US puppet government and held hostage US embassy personnel, regarded as “a den of spies,” while Iranian students pieced together shredded embassy documents that proved America’s complicity in the destruction of Iranian democracy.

hahahah I was just saying to my friend that I thought this new guy was put forward for destabilisation.

He's an ex priminster who commited atrocities as bad as most of the recent regimes. Rumoured to be a dollar billionaire, connected with the Iran/contra scandal his wealth reputed to have been made from 'donations' and arms deals intros....

This 'change' mantra Obama started (copied from Reagan a couple of decades back) has caught on. The change the spoilt, idle, wealthy 'yoof' in the elite suburbs of Tehran actually want is; imported merc sls, prada sunglasses and a version of hello magazine,... anyhow here's a comment I liked from one of the readers of ICH

Article is correct in the absolute. As always, however, speaking the truth to Americans is ineffective to the degree of being useless. Like the Iranian youth mentioned in the article, Americans are thralls to the story lines they are fed by the corporate media with Department of Defense "guidance." No amount of rational straight-talk will deter the crazed American juggernaut. And I must take issue with one element of the article: its conclusion. Many intellectuals see the Empire bankrupting itself and becoming isolated; but they have, I believe, grossly underestimated the sheer magnitude of America's coercive and intelligence-gathering forces and the depth of its funding.

Tremendous financial resources, including 310 million idiotic American taxpayers, are funding the invasive monstrosity that the American nation has become. This coercive monster cannot be stopped simply because it may "alienate the world" and become "despised." America's ideological invasion of the minds of the world's peoples, especially their youth, is an overlooked dimension of the American Empire's world domination. It cannot fail, although a few, like Paul Craig Roberts, see through the veil of mind control and shout the truth to millions of puppets: American citizens.

You can talk to puppets all you want and they will continue to dance on the strings that suspend them, and those strings are the propaganda pouring out through every media source in America, including NPR, between Monsanto ads. People of Iran: "Nice try, but sooner or later you can kiss your asses goodbye. The American Empire has so decreed."

and another thing (last thoughts on the subject), anyone notice that two faced 'on the take' tw@t John Simpson mock the Iran president's official airplane? He called it old and decrepit, there's a reason he flies in an old cargo plane...

Is this why he is despised by the rich and corrupt in Iran and in the West?

Here is the e-mail with slight edition to make reading easier:

AHMENINEJAD: Indeed, we have a lot to learn and practice from him.

Fox New TV (US) asked the Iranian President Ahmede Najad; "When you look into the mirror in the morning what do you say to yourself"? He answered: ”I see the person in the mirror and tell him, ‘Remember, you are no more than a small servant, ahead of you today is the heavy responsibility, and that is to serve the Iranian nation’.
And this was how the broadcaster introduced him.

“Ahmedi Nijad, the Iranian President who astonished many when he first reached to the office of the Presidency by donating all the high valued Iranian carpets to one of the mosques in Tehran by replacing them with the low cost ordinary carpets.
He observed that there was a huge extravagant loungue for receiving and welcoming VIP’s and he ordered it to be closed and asked the protocol office to arrange for an ordinary room instead with wooden chairs, though more impressive, in fact!
On many instances he joins the cleaning staff of the municipality for cleaning the streets in the area where his home and the Presidency office are located.

Under his authority whenever he appoints any minister to his post he gets a signed document from him with many points, particularly highlighting that he shall remain poor and that his personal and his relatives’ accounts will be watched, and the day he leaves the ministry, it shall be with dignity, and therefore it is not lawful for him or his relatives to take any advantage of his office.

First of all he declared that all the "Big" wealth and property he owned was a Peugeot 504 car, model 1977, and an old small house inherited from his father forty years ago in one of the poorest zones in Tehran. His accounts has a zero balance and the only money that comes in is from his salary from the university as a lecturer with an amount of US$ 250 only. The President still lives in that same house. This is all that the president of one of the world's important countries, owns.

He doesn't take his personal salary stating that all the wealth belongs to the nation, and he is the safeguard over it.

One of the things that impressed the staff at the Presidency is the bag the president brings with him every day, which contains his breakfast - some sandwiches or bread with olive oil and cheese prepared by his wife, and which he eats and enjoys with relish. He has stopped all deliveries of special food that used to come for the President.

One of the other things he changed was his personal carrier "the presidents Aircraft" to a cargo aircraft in order to save spending from the public treasury and he ordered that he would be flying on an ordinary airline in economy class.

He organizes meetings every now and then with all the ministers to know their activities and efficiency and he closed down the office of the manager of the president. Any minister can enter his office without permission. He also stopped the welcome ceremonies like the red carpet, the photo session or any personal advertisement or respect of any kind while visiting any place in the country.

Whenever he has to stay in any of the hotels he asks them to make sure not to give him a room without any big bed because he doesn't like to sleep on beds; he rather likes to sleep on the ground on a simple mattress with a blanket.

Do any of his actions and practices show any disrespect for the high post of President?
Refer to some of the photographs which confirm the above.

The Iranian president is sleeping in the guest room of his house after getting away from his special guards who follow him wherever he goes> The photo is taken by his young brother according to the Wifaq Newspaper which published this photo; and the next day the photo was published in most of the world's newspapers and magazines and particularly by the Americans!

Many intellectuals see the Empire bankrupting itself and becoming isolated; but they have, I believe, grossly underestimated the sheer magnitude of America's coercive and intelligence-gathering forces and the depth of its funding.

Psychological warfare is the new black. Dis/mis information for the public. You only have to look at trading as an example of how the c*nts use the news.
