Does anybody know a place where I could see daily charts for the ftse/dax? my platform only goes back to the start of the month?

Fxpro offer a free demo that would give you a lot more than a months worth, can't remember how many days exactly. There are also plenty of other data vendors that will provide free end of day data. Can't you also get that from yahoo finance or somewhere? Google 'free eod data'
