I recently started using rapidminer to build a financial time series forecast system of my own.

Any fellow rapidminer users out there?

I just checked orange canvas and it seems gui is very user friendly, just like rapidminer
If you would have to choose between those two programs which one would you consider it to be more effective at building financial time series system?

very interesting theme, but hard stuff.
I've had some experience in using RM, knime and R, but the results remain poor.
My favorite tool is the RM, but the results are very difficult to interpret.
So if you want to jump into the theme, I recommend you the tutorials of Thomas Ott
